Personal Fitness Trainer (Trainer Course)
CZK 11,900 (including study materials)
Our Trainer Course is ideal for all those interested in exercise and a healthy lifestyle and would like to make a living from it in the future. Our course graduates will receive a certificate of retraining as fitness instructor (certified by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports). The certificate can then be used to apply for a trade licence. The course is certified by the Ministry of Education and, therefore, can be studied as a retraining course reimbursable by the Labour Office of the Czech Republic.
Benefits of our trainer course
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports certification guarantees that the course meets all the required standards. After completing the course and passing the examination, you will receive a certificate. Thanks to the certification by the Ministry, you can use the course certificate as a proof of qualification for obtaining a trainer’s trade license.
Since the course is classified as a retraining course, it can be reimbursed by the Labour Office of the Czech Republic. Feel free to contact us for more information or assistance with the necessary documents.
The trainer course also touches on other topics and disciplines that every successful fitness instructor should know. For example, you will learn how to draw up a customized nutrition plan (nutrition specialist course), techniques to help eliminate back and cervical spine pain (functional trainer course), and we will also touch on the basics of relaxation (yoga course).
Together we will find a way to adapt the course to your possibilities so that we can best guide you to pass the final examination. If restrictive health measures are in place, students of the trainer course can complete the practical part of the course in individual mode, i.e. in small groups of one to three students.
The course is led by the best specialists in the field of coaching and fitness. The expert guarantor of the course is Daniel Hejret, who has over 30 years of experience and has worked for several major sports clubs and the national team. Among other lecturers are, for example, the European champion in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, or the winner of the CrossFit Open in the Czech Republic.
In Prague we teach at the JEREMI Sport gym. The premises of the gym were designed specifically for training purposes. The gym is equipped with modern GRÜN SPORT machines, dumbbells, as well as a cardio zone with treadmills, stationary bikes and rowing machines.
In Brno we teach at the AZ FITNESS gym, which is located in the AZ TOWER, the tallest building in the Czech Republic. The gym is equipped with top-quality fitness machines from the world leader in the field – Life Fitness Signature which became the official partner and supplier of equipment for the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi. There are also TRX suspension ropes, kettlebells, medicineballs, Fitbox totems, plyometric boxes, Bosu, balance pads, Gun-ex ropes, powerbags, agility ladders, overballs, gymballs, horizontal bars and many other equipment.
As in other retraining courses, each student must complete 150 hours of tuition in order to be admitted to the examination and receive the certificate.
However, unlike other schools, we offer students an additional 100 hours of training to deepen their knowledge and experience and become even better trainers.
Each student is provided with teaching materials in electronic form.
Graduates can take advantage of discounts on further education in the form of extension courses and workshops that deepen the already extensive knowledge gained in the trainer course.
What you will learn in the trainer course
- How to draw up a customized training plan.
- Perform musculoskeletal diagnostics.
- Basics of human anatomy and physiology.
- How to exercise on weight machines and with your own body weight.
- You get a battery of exercises
- Stretching exercises for all parts of the body.
- Detect musculoskeletal imbalances.
- Effectively eliminate musculoskeletal deficiencies.
- Basics of psychology and pedagogy.
- And much more.
Our graduates must be able to identify what a particular person needs and how to approach them appropriately. Based on this assessment, they are able to prepare training plans tailored to the client’s needs.
“Our classes are also attended by people who train just for themselves but don't want to pay for trainers because they’ve had some bad experiences with them. Our courses teach people to work independently. It is the only possible approach – since we are accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, a successful graduate of our course can set up their own business. That's why we have high demands on our students. We cannot allow our trainers to hurt people instead of helping them.”
Time schedule of the course
The course is unique in its individual (pro-client) approach. Together we will find a way to adapt the course to your possibilities and best guide you to pass the final examination. Another advantage is that you can start your studies whenever you want. And what does the tutoring look like?
The minimum to obtain a nationally valid certificate is the usual 150 hours of tuition.
- 50 hours of theory – anatomy and physiology, sports training, sports hygiene and nutrition, psychology and pedagogy, first aid.
- 100 hours of practice – Methodology of sports training – training unit, diagnosis of the musculoskeletal system, DSS and its activation, basics of rehabilitation exercises, techniques to correct posture and stabilization, suspension systems, machines and dumbbells, stretching of the whole body, Organization of sports training – creation and presentation of training plans, group lessons, practice in fitness facilities.
- Examination – a written test, oral and practical part – presentation and defence of a training plan, performance of a selected exercise.
In our course you can take an extra 100 lessons!
In addition, the coaching course is interlinked with other programmes – we ensure coherence at all levels. All three pillars, fitness, yoga and nutrition, are interconnected. We emphasize interconnectedness. Each of our students, regardless of their choice of major, will also encounter the other two pillars in the course, plus they can attend various interesting seminars. In addition, you will also learn:
- Rehabilitation techniques to help eliminate back and cervical spine pain.
- Draw up a customized nutrition plan
- Basics of yoga.

Price of the course
The course price of CZK 11,900 includes theoretical and practical lectures, compulsory seminars (Psychology and Pedagogy, First Aid and Physiology), final examination and Certificate. The price of the course does not include a pass to the partner fitness centre, group lessons, nor main study materials (this does not apply to retraining through the Labour Office of the Czech Republic).
It is possible to buy an individual course for CZK 34,900.
Why isn't the gym membership included in the price of the course? For a simple reason. Each student has their own individual pace in their studies – some attend the course intensively and graduate in one month, some choose a slower pace and graduate in three months. It is therefore not possible to include a fixed amount for the membership in the price of the course, as some companies do. The length of study can vary by up to two months. It wouldn't be fair to the faster students.
